Watches and Wonders never fails to enthrall watch enthusiasts with its dazzling array of horological marvels, and this year was no exception. Cooke & Kelvey had the pleasure of attending this prestigious event, and we witnessed Watches and Wonders 2024 leaving watch lovers dizzy with excitement!

Among the standout pieces were Tudor’s captivating Black Bay series and Rolex’s masterful reinterpretations of classics, each timepiece a testament to the enduring legacy of craftsmanship and innovation.
Tudor: Evolution of Heritage
As the sister company to Rolex, Tudor has always impressed with its unique blend of heritage and innovation. This year the Black Bay 58 GMT stole the show and it was easy to see why. Imagine the classic 39mm Black Bay 58 case, now with a GMT complication. It’s like Tudor read our minds! The warm hues on the bidirectional bezel nod to the golden age of travel, while the Master Chronometer-certified movement ensures precision wherever your adventures take you.

Tudor didn’t stop there. They also introduced a sleek new monochromatic Black Bay in 41mm. With upgrades like the “T-Fit” clasp and a COSC-certified Master Chronometer movement, this watch is all about marrying classic style with modern performance.
Tudor fans were in for a pleasant surprise when the brand took them for a dive into luxury with the Black Bay 58 18K. This solid yellow-gold dive watch is a first for Tudor, and boy, did they knock it out of the park. It’s got some heft to it with a matching three-link bracelet and a “golden green” dial that screams sophistication
For those who swear by elegant timepieces, Tudor’s revamped Clair de Rose collection will make you swoon with its beauty. Available in three sizes, these watches feature signature blue dials housed in stainless steel cases, blending classic design with modern functionality.

The updated Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II was a definite highlight. With its two-colour Cerachrom bezel and black lacquer dial with green lettering it’s a perfect blend of style and functionality for the modern traveler.

The new Oyster Perpetual Rolex Deepsea in 18k yellow gold was the real jaw-dropper. Yes, you read it right! Rolex’s professional deep-sea diver’s watch in luxurious yellow gold. The blue lacquer dial and ceramic bezel make for a stunning combination, and rest assured, this beauty can handle the harshest depths.
Rolex also treated us to two new versions of the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona. These 18k white gold stunners feature mother-of-pearl dials, one black and one white, adorned with diamonds. It’s luxury meets sportiness in a mind-boggling way!
Let’s not forget about the Day-Date and Sky-Dweller. Rolex introduced new versions of both, featuring stunning dials with materials like mother-of-pearl and diamond hour markers. The Day-Date even comes in a 40mm size now, perfect for those who prefer a slightly larger watch.
